At Amazon, I had the opportunity to lead my own feature inside of AWS Marketplace. AWS sellers are able to sell products on AWS marketplace to specific buyers through private offers (which is a highly lucrative business), but there isn’t an easy way to copy offers to other buyers or even delete current offers. A clone offer feature is a highly requested feature from sellers which will enable both of these needs.
To develop this feature, I worked with various people including UX experts, Project Managers, developers of other codebases, and my own team to deliver on a product that matched the customers needs while also being technically optimal. This process involved discussions, design documents, code reviews, and bug bashes. This experience not only had me developing my technical skills in Typescript and React, but it also gave me a unique internship experience that required me to take various expert opinions into account while developing a brand new customer facing feature.
